Fire making, shelter building challenges and so much more is offered during this exciting introduction class for youth ages 7-12. Students will learn through hands-on activities, challenges and games to teach them how to stay warm, dry and focused on staying alive. Students will also learn about:

• Signaling for help
• Edible plants & trees
• Primitive tools for hunting
• Animal tracking
• Primitive Cooking

In addition to the above, students will also get a chance to learn about how they can continue their skills at home, how to challenge their family and friends, and discover more about themselves when faced with a challenging situation or the need to help someone else in the wild. This is a very popular class for kids and families alike designed to inspire a deep passion for life-long outdoor learning.
